"A friend if mine had been talking about this lodge for a few years, last year I started visiting & joined in January. The Elks is a private establishment founded & focused on benevolence. The community of menbers is pretty close & a lot of charatible activities happen throughput the year. Having said that, most of the activities here are typical private club activities, resturant, bar, workout facility, and killer pool. The anual membership fees are a fraction of any HOA in the area & the pool is bigger & better. Also, drinks are somewhat cheaper than at surrounding public establishments. Anyone can visit up to several times a year, any member will be glad to sponsor you, just ring the bell for access & sign the guest book. Also, the recently re-opened (covid) kitchen is cranking out some good stuff. Try the Buffalo chicken sandwich or the buffalo chicken salad. That new cheff deserves a James Beard award or something."
